My mother lived at Desert Horizon for over a year. I can’t give enough praise for the excellent care she received during her stay. 100% of the staff cared for her as if she was their own mother. Communication with Angela and Kelsie was excellent. It is so comforting to have a loved on in a facility you can count on for every detail.

We were looking for a memory care facility for Mom and this was the best of all the places we checked out. It’s a warm and comfortable home. The owner Angela, is a very compassionate and experienced nurse. She and her staff were all very pleasant and helpful. The facility doesn’t feel like a facility. It just feels like a home. It’s clean and uncluttered. It doesn’t have any worrisome smells like some facilities. My Moms room was large and even had its own roll-in shower in her private bathroom. I would recommend this place wholeheartedly.

My family and I wish to tell you about our experience with Desert Horizon Residential Care. We came from out of state to help my husband's brother in any way we could as their mother was in the hospital. When we arrived His brother was told by the doctor she needed to go into an assisted living facility. He had been given a few phone numbers to try. He called and spoke to Angela and she set up an appointment so we could tour the residence. We went in not knowing what to expect and were pleasantly surprised. This was a home. Comfortable cozy and warm not at all the cold stainless steel furnishings or florescent lights on 24/7 we were expecting. Angela a nurse was very kind. (My son says it takes a special person to do this work and he is right) Angela is that person. I asked if it would be ok to take a couple pictures to show my husband's brother. She said of course take any pictures you want. We know we are very fortunate there was a room available. Angela knew what to do and arranged everything. What a great experience!
